In todayโs episode I am featuring the newly released Third Reality Zigbee Smart Plug with Energy Monitoring. This plug is designed with a low profile, space saving design which accommodates the placement of two smart plugs in any standard wall receptacle. Unlike TRs first generation plug, the Gen 2 version of this plug provides real time energy monitoring. The energy monitoring feature is supported by Home Assistant, SmartThings, Hubitat and the Third Reality second generation smart hub.

Very well done. Have you had a chance to try the Aqara smart plug for energy monitoring in SmartThings?
Using their plugs, door and motion sensors. Working great with ZHA in HA. I hope they make a wall light dimmer soon.
Bought the 4-pack and none were found when attempting to pair with SmartThings.
Hi Bud, is there any concern with the energy monitoring creating too much zigbee traffic and slowing down performance on the smartthings hub?
Is it possible to set up automations based on real-time energy usage? Like if it detects a certain wattage going through it’ll trigger another smart plug in the house to turn on?
