I’m so very curious why you choose Z-Wave or Zigbee over thread? Isn’t matter the new standard? Also have you tried any Shelly products? I’m about to go into a new house so looking for how to do everything 🙂
I would love to use home assistant but one of my main ways of interacting with my smart home is by voice command.
Did you consider the Inovelli Red dimmer switches? Any reason you preferred the Lutron switches that require a separate hub?
#1 and only reason to not use Home Assistant: No native alexa integration. Must pay $$ for HA Cloud, or jump through crazy hoops, and be an Amz developer. openHab’s built-in alexa integration is *chef’s kiss* a dream, and works straight out of the box.
