After 10 years, my two wired Nest Protect devices have expired so I’m in the market for smart home replacements — HomeKit-compatible, this time! Leaning towards the Heiman Matter, which Amazon is selling for $40 / $50. No wired option. Unsure about interconnect. Will report back here with my findings.
